Event Time and Date

Thursday, March 30 2017, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Participants in this workshop will learn the basics of citation and referencing conventions in an academic paper by first learning why this form of documentation is so important in academic writing, Grounded in this understanding, we will provide an overview of citation/referencing rules and conventions for various documentation styles used at Ryerson. Participants will also be guided on where to get more detailed information so they can better manage their own research process.

This workshop will benefit all students but particularly those new to or struggling with academic formatting conventions. This workshop is offered by Student Learning Support. To learn more, book appointments, join group sessions or register for accommodation visit www.ryerson.ca/sls
