About Look Good Feel Better:
The Look Good Feel Better program is Canada’s only cancer charity dedicated to empowering women to manage the effects that cancer and its treatment can have on their appearance. Through a free beauty workshop, participants receive the tools and techniques to feel beautiful and vital. In so doing, it helps restore the sense of self and renew a feeling of womanhood, however these women choose to define it.

Role Purpose:
To increase awareness of a free workshop that women with cancer can participate in and help remove barriers to their participation such as online registration.

Workshops occur the 4th Monday of the month, and dates include:

Mon Jul 24 2017
Mon Aug 28 2017
Mon Sep 25 2017
Mon Oct 23 2017
Mon Nov 27 2017

Responsibilities:

  • Present one-on-one or in small groups to Princess Margaret Lodge guests introducing the beauty workshop, communicating value and addressing reservations.
  • Provide information on workshop logistics location, time, and who can attend.
  • Work with interested women in performing online registration (many of these individuals will have low computer skills). Desktop computer is available, personal laptop or tablet is encouraged for convenience.
  • Presentation content and training provided.
